Evening Sky
After my weariness of yesterday, I was definitely much brighter today. The weather was also much brighter. I went for a short walk to test out the temperature , so I could decide on how many layers might need for my run. It was definitely much milder than if Kate, but still rather blustery.
I did the same running tribute as Friday, and apart from the wind, it was lovely with bright blue skies. I came home and made scrambled eggs on toast for the boys before they headed into Edinburgh to go to Murrayfield.
I then took my time to get myself ready, before heading into Edinburgh myself. I had some shopping to do, including an errand on behalf of BB. I couldn’t believe how busy it was, but of course all sorts of attractions are now open for the season. I was quite put out on George Street when I couldn’t cross the road, without going on to the next junction.
I did my shopping, which was largely successful, then met up with the boys and friends for tea. I definitely picked the wrong thing. They all really enjoyed their meals, while I was rather disappointed.
BB had to get back to Glasgow, so TT and I walked down to the station with him before catching a bus home. We watched more Sliw Horses, though I dozed, so will have to watch it again.
There was a lovely sky over the old town tonight.
