A work in progress
Bit like my life at the moment. I hardly slept last night - I don't know why as I was tired and not overly stressed about anything. As usual I finally went off about 5 a.m. and then was up just before 6.35 and in the pool by 6.45. I'm getting earlier and earlier.
Came home to tidy the kitchen, take the bread out the machine (properly baked this time) and eventually do some work. Didn't really have much to do other than couple of phone calls about payroll. There is much to do but I'm waiting for other folk to get back to me.
Willow was very unhappy as the vet appointment in the afternoon meant she was confined to the house. I made up the spare room and did the very small amount of ironing. Then I filled up the windscreen fluid in the car and did some of my own emails and some finance stuff for Mum.
After lunch it was down to the vet with a very noisy Willow. She doth protest. She got a clean bill of health. No weight increase, or decrease and everything else was fine. Once home it was so mild I did a few bits and pieces in the garden before it started to get chilly.
Then I started doing some prep work for the sitter. I need to do some serious house cleaning too.
Y is off to the match tonight so I'll be walking round to SCD on my own. Trying to gather up my energy to go.
This house replacing an oddly shaped predecessor has been a work in progress for years. No sign of anyone working on it for ages. I think it may be a self build.
