Charterhouse

The Charterhouse is having its Christmas Fair today, and it couldn't be a nicer day for it with wall-to-wall sunshine.  MrHCB and I bought cheeses, pies, olive oil and a cheese board in a rare wood.  Everything is lovingly craftsman-made.

Luckily I was with MrHCB because he has no interest in jewellery, perfume, scarves, candles, children's clothes, toys...  I would have spent a fortune if I'd been there by myself ;-)

It was packed with people, all with their wallets out, and it's a great way to see the dazzling interiors from all periods.
