Another lovely summer's evening meal outside

After a cloudy start, the day brightened up and became warm and sunny towards the end of the day.

Another busy day dealing with a glut of fruit. Picked blackcurrants from our bush, then tailed them and made 5 pots of blackcurrant jam. Froze some cooked gooseberries separating most of the juice which I then made into gooseberry cordial which we had for supper.

Spent some time working on signalbox revision ahead of the upcoming passing out turn, trying to get my head around the pattern of entries in the train register especially when Northiam signalbox is open. I always seem to make mistakes on the register, getting the time wrong, forgetting to fill in the time, putting it in the wrong column etc.

Went to the gym for a good workout then back home for a nice supper with lots of our own produce from the allotment and the breadmaker.
