Construction on Eastlake Ave.

First time I’ve been out for 10 days so thought I’d record part of the mess on our Eastlake St., the whole length of which is being changed for the rapid ride bus and bike lanes.  Not sure if  the islands with the trees are going to be gone.     Big controversy for years but it finally passed and there will be detours for a long while.  Under the Freeway here at not quite 4:30.   Not sure what those little “moons” are but I like them.  

We drove to the UW Med Center for an appointment with “palliative care”.  Was very curious to see what they can do.   We talked goals and she referred us to HOME palliative care and someone will be out here soon to evaluate and then get us hooked up with hospice smoothly, whenever……feels good to plan ahead.   H saw far too many people wait too long to get any real benefit.

Friend R here this am to bring some treats and low sodium mushroom soup for dinner.    The neighbor cook sent pumpkin pie last night.
