art - a lazy day!

I must finally be relaxing after my trip south....I slept until almost 8 this morning. I had plans to meet A for coffee at 9 so I had to get a move on. 

We chatted for two hours over coffee inside my usual coffee shop. Time flies when you are engaged with an interesting friend. 

When we parted, I drove east on the south frontage road to find the Trading Post, a curious roadside enterprise. It features metal sculptures made in Mexico and meant for outdoor display. I do find these in yards around the area. The subject matter for these sculptures is varied and sometimes unusual. I love the rusty horses that are life-sized. If pigs could fly, they'd be taking off from Yuma apparently. 

I'm home again for a quiet afternoon. I have no particular plans so anything (or nothing) can happen!
