Sunrise over the
Gila Mountains is always
a beautiful treat

I was awake about 4:30 and up checking email. I discovered that my local grocer opens at 6 AM so I made sure I was there at the start of their day and mine.

With my shopping stored in the back seat of my car, I drove off to the east and S Avenue 15 E.  It's the edge of the desert and runs parallel with the mountains. I waited in the dark for the sun to come up.

I was home putting the groceries away before 8. Coffee in hand, I sat down to complete my blip for the day. Nice to be done and dusted before breakfast!

I'd offered to do the newsletter for my artists' group, so I hope to have it completed today ready for distribution December 1st.

My neighbour had been given a 20 pound turkey at his place of work. He called me asking if I could roast it for him as he's never cooked a turkey before. We've named the bird "Henry' and today may be the day for roasting. It will be an early Thanksgiving dinner for my neighbour. He has offered to half it with me, but I really wouldn't want more than a slice.

I'm home with my feet up and hoping it's a quiet day.
