As storms go, he was pretty rubbish with us. Roads were tricky for a while and it was bitterly cold, but we didn’t have anywhere to go so we just stayed home. Snow turned to rain by midday and temperature started rising too. Winds never amounted to much in the village either. I guess the hill gave us some shelter.
