wildfire

Not the best pic ever, but a memorable late afternoon. Don’t know how it started, possibly muirburn or maybe a careless walker, but we have what seems to be a wildfire on the hill behind the house. It seems to have originated further down the other side, however, by 5pm it was clearly visible above the crest of the hill.. By 11pm it was still burning. I guess if the fire service can’t get it under control, the rain that’s coming in over the next 48 hours will sort it out.
