On the Prom

A late start to the morning letting the howling wind and heavy rain pass over. I think actually we’ve missed a lot of the bad weather.

Callum took the dogs late morning, dropped me at Sainsburys to get a few essentials we’d run out of and I walked back from town. I did get a blip in one of the alleyways, however this evening we decided to take the dogs down the prom and along the length of the beach huts.

I quickly looked at the tide app and saw it was going to be out, so put my waterproof shoes on just in case. We had a great walk, and I did take them on the beach but although the really bad weather has missed us, it’s still been pretty windy and it was blowing sand and debris about, so we finished the walk on the prom.

Not too many people about, as you can see. The amusement arcade (on the right) had a few punters in. This was just before 6pm, I don’t know what time it all closes. The fish and chip shop was doing a reasonable trade though and the adjoining restaurant looked busy.
