Sunset swim

I didn't go down to Horseshoe beach this morning but I heard on the radio a number of the protesters had been arrested today trying to block the harbour.  It's been pretty peaceful up until today but police were saying they had to pull people out of the water.  Hmm.  

Anyhoo, instead Maggy and I went down to the lake and she had her swim there. Look at that crazy dog in the water.   It's hard to keep her out and I had to call her back a few times. 

I am amazed just how much further South the sun is setting but I guess we are not all that far off the solstice.

And what is this about Christmas lights being on now.   I saw quite a few houses with their lights on.  I thought it was bad luck if you had the tree up before 1 December!  Mind you, some people just don't bother to take them down.
