Take cover

On our last full day of the photographic workshop, we went to the coast. The day started off warm and sunny with some lovely white clouds sweeping the horizon. However after lunch, the dark clouds from the inland had crept over us and a tiny drop of rain led to a downpour. This lead to us making a run for the land rover. Despite being soaked, we managed to drive off down the road where they had luckily escaped the showers. Even though we got drenched, the images I took with the dark clouds created a dramatic and HDR-style effect which I wouldn't have achieved with a softer sky. So overall, it was worth it.
