My Bed

Changed the linen on my bed..no easy task even for 2 old people. Why do duvet covers insist on buttons? so this was my bed when I was a kid ..maybe after 3yo.  Not sure if it was new or old then but somehow my Mom kept it and it ended up in Seattle in my studio/guestroom.   We got a queen mattress for this double…it sticks out a bit each side……A few family and friends have used it but mostly it’s been covered with mess on the table top.  Couldn't find a good one  but here gives you an idea. 
 We really really miss sleeping together almost 61 years and that king size bed on the 3rd floor but there’s no elevator and this one on the first floor is easier and safer all around.   And my stuff’s all here and I don’t have to worry about making noise with the occasionall oxygen machine or just walking around. or reading in the night.   I still get my back rub, just in front  of the tv and not falling asleep like usual.     H doesn’t seem to be sleeping any better however.

I have memories of my Dad laying on this bed telling me bedtime stories of his pranks which I asked for endlessly.
Made low sodium taco soup and watched Nik’s basketball  game ..
