Snow, Wind & Rain

We left North Yorkshire at 7am this morning as the snow had started to fall. By the time we reached the A1(M) it was falling heavily and 2 of the 3 lanes were snowbound.

Snow continued to fall until we got south of Yorkshire then the rain began to fall. The normal 4 & 1/2 hour journey took 7 hours.

This left just 1 & 1/2 hours to visit our grandson. He slept through our whole visit!

We have another chance tomorrow.

The wind is now howling outside. We didn’t see the sun at all today, even my satnav stayed on night mode all day…
