Friendly Confrontation

The Turkey Vultures make it too easy for me to get photos of them. With the cooler mornings, they hang around sunning themselves, just waiting for the secret 'Vulture Signal' alerting them to fly off to some destination known only to them. They are noticeably 'away' all day and then come back to roost in the late afternoon, as the sun is going down. Just like clockwork they fly in, squabble a bit among themselves over what I assume are prime night perches and finally...settle down for the evening. m
