Gaia's Child

Good Morning...

In the low 40's (F) this morning as Fletch and I walked. We saw frost on some rooftops and were thankful for the cooler weather. I realize that 40F doesn't seem cold at all to most folks out there in the world, but to us here in Florida, it's a definite 'cold-snap'! The Turkey Vultures and Black Vultures are regulars now. They roost nightly in our neighborhood's tall oak and pine trees. The morning finds them facing east, appreciating the rising sun's warming rays. These three Turkey Vultures watched us from a pine in our front yard. My favorite animal photo to capture is of a creature intently staring right at me or better yet...looking back over its shoulder at me and my camera.  m
