A black and white day

It was snowing when we woke but it was the wet stuff which turned to sleet later so the road should be fine for getting over to Carol and Phil’s for cocktails and supper. What a lovely friend - an impromptu invite to cheer us up after our disappointment of having to cancel our trip.

Thank you for your kind condolences re the trip and your good wishes to Mr C. He is walking fine with no pain. - it’s sitting that’s the problem. I’ll just have to keep him busy. He de-frosted the freezer while I worked on the family year book. I’m slow off the mark this year and am only up to May.

Chris and Ailie are off to the Galapagos today. They’ll love it.
