Drive By Shooting

Late morning I travelled from home to my eldest son's house to watch the 12.30pm kick off of Sheffield Wednesday v Cardiff City match on tv.  It's hammered down with wind and rain all night and it was no different during the forty five minute journey to Cwmbran (South Wales, UK) all due to Storm Bert!

I spotted the lone bird on the dead tree and managed to stop the car and take a photograph without getting out and soaked.  I did get the bird flying off but prefer this one for it's simplicity and starkness which reflects the weather,

Cardiff scored first but minutes later Sheffield equalised. I don't think we played well so the draw is a good away result and took us out of the relegation zone.

Tonight we're off out for a meal and a drink, and hopefully our friends will come with us.
