Brass monkey weather...

Very pretty out but soooooooo cold!  

D was supposed to be playing golf locally but the course was closed again because of the frost.  Leven GC was open though so he messaged Bob to see if he fancied a run through to Leven.  Of course the answer was yes, so he disappeared very quickly as it's an hour away and he wanted to make the most of the daylight.

I whiled away the hours crocheting the baby blanket and trying to come up with Christmas gift ideas (as well as for the four family birthdays in December!!  Sex in March should be banned! )  I was more successful with the crochet than the ideas!  
D arrived home happy with his golf round and happy that Bob had enjoyed it too.  It was his first time playing there.

Dinner then we settled down to watch Shetland.  I love Ashley Jensen and had no doubt she would make the part her own, but Doug Henshall's Jimmy Perez is a hard act to follow.  I have to say she has filled his boots nicely and I am really enjoying this series, even though tonight's ending was pretty gruesome!
