MOUSE HOUSE

There's a hide at RSPB Saltholme called the Wildlife Watchpoint which is particularly welcoming to families and children (though they're welcome in the others as well), and this little installation has access from the outside for wood mice. I've only ever seen one there but that's my bad luck, I think. Usually it's set out as a miniature room with furniture and a bowl of tempting treats but today I see it's been set up for a special day tomorrow. I hope that (a) people aren't put off going there by Storm Bert, (b) at least one mouse will show up and (c) that the Dalek will behave in a civilised manner.
