Tyrrell’s Winery

Today on the agenda was wine tasting at Tyrrell’s, a wine that we are quite familiar with.

The Hunter Valley is famous for semillon and light shirazes.

Our discovery has been verdelho, we’d never heard of it before, and have really enjoyed this new discovery. And Tyrrell’s had a good one, so we came away with some :).

Lunch was back at the Hunter Valley village. We walked around and explored more this time. And I even found a British Lolly Shop!!!!

Back at the hotel, there were kangaroos waiting for us again. As much as they are a pest in Australia, destroying many farms … along with the wild boars, they are just fascinating to me!

We received confirmation that our balloon flight is going ahead tomorrow, great weather for it, yay!!!

So an early night for us as it’s a 3:40am start to be there for 4:30am!!! Too excited.
