Sunlight on leaves
We were up early as I needed to take the other car for a service and MOT. Gavin worked from home today so he was able to take the car in and I fetched him from the garage. It was such a lovely sunny morning and has been sunny all day.
Last night the camera club committee meeting went well but we had so much to discuss that we ran over time. Today I have been busy typing up the minutes, I like to get them done as soon as possible and by late afternoon the first draft was already sent off.
I also went to the hairdresser today, had to get my hair done before we go away on Monday.
I ordered a few more Christmas presents this week and bought them through John Lewis as I knew I could go collect them the next day from our local Waitrose, it's such a wonderful click and collect service and JL stocks most of the brands. With the Black Friday sales I was able to get some nice things at a discount. After the hairdresser I went to Waitrose to collect the parcels and there was a woman returning some purchases she did not want - one of her items was a tube of Pringles, but she has already eaten half of it and could not understand why the staff would not give her a refund! Se complained they were too salty but then had eaten more than half the tube...Honestly, some people!
I finished wrapping all the Christmas presents, gave myself a pedicure so now have holiday toes, and have ticked off more than half my list I started the week with.
Luke and Meriel arrive tonight, they are going to spend the weekend here. Adam, Anna, Inca and Tommy are arriving on Sunday from Cambridge. Luke and Meriel are going to Langkawi (Malaysia) on Tuesday, they did not have go away in the summer as all of us usually do.
As I have been so busy today, Gavin is kindly making spag bol for supper - it is the one dish he makes really well lets be honest, it is the one dish he makes, fullstop, haha.
Tomorrow the packing starts!
