Still wintry

My blip today gives a taste of our wintry weather which resulted in a bit of a white knuckle ride through the glen this morning. I really like my electric car, except on slippy surfaces when it has poor traction. Anyway, I returned home safely. Except I had to abandon the car half way up the (fairly steep) slush-covered drive when it refused to go any further.
I ventured out again in the afternoon (after reversing back down the drive) and went to visit an elderly friend who lives alone. We had a very pleasant couple of hours discussing a wide range of topics. M is nearly 91 and although her body is showing signs of age, her mind is as sharp as a new pin and conversation with her is very interesting indeed.
