It used to be that I'd find an interesting route and then check how far it would be to run. If I could manage it, I'd do it.

These days, Runna (the app) prescribes a distance and then I have to find a route to match it. That worked well, today, as I devised a lovely run that took in a fair amount of countryside and river. And look how nice the weather was!

In the evening, I went out with Simon for food and drinks at HOME, and then to see Mercury Prize winners English Teacher at The Ritz. Simon had done his homework - I hadn't - and was cautiously optimistic. (The tickets had come from a friend of mine, Pete, with whom I was ay uni. He had to have an operation and sent the tickets to me.)

In the end, though... really inexcusably bad sound and not very good songs. These guitar bands need to listen to The Smiths! 

So, we left after six songs.
