Little and large...

...violas and pansies.

Dry, if not bright, to start with, so MrM and I both spent a few hours working in the garden. I planted almost all the recently purchased violas and pansies into containers, and planted most of the bulbs too. MrM did lots of cutting back of rampant shrubs, and had a bonfire, which he kept on tending until the middle of the afternoon, long after it had started raining. I retreated indoors when the rain came - plenty of things to tackle on the to do list that didn't involve getting soaked!

Neither of us had the inclination to cook this evening, and we decided on a meal at the Boshaw Trout. I had the Sunday roast with chicken breast, thinking that it was the healthy option. So it may have been in one sense, but when I'd almost finished eating, I was horrified to cut into a piece of chicken to realise that it was decidedly pink on the inside. They didn't charge for my meal, but that's not the point - just hoping that I'm not going to go down with some sort of tummy bug as a result...
