People are so kind ….

A good friend said that she wanted to buy us a plant for the garden and found a rose called Aimee.....!  How lovely and we are so touched by the kindness of friends - I suppose it was the same as all the friends who bought Aimee pyjamas, candles, flowers, face masks, toiletries, experiences, hotel stays and many other gifts during her two year illness.  Nobody can take away the pain but can show their love and the fact they are thinking about you by doing thoughtful things.

Today was a trip to Jct 8 for OH to buy an overcoat - it will be cold at the funeral and he wanted a smart coat to wear.  Good shopping trip for him, they had his size and it fitted.  Whereas everything I tried on would need the sleeves and hem taking up and only one coat in my size anyway.  

Quick trip to get nails and brows done but think I might have to change to a nail lady who does not talk all the time (such drivel - sorry mean I know).  Also the TV is always on and it is daytime dross - today Family Fortunes, whoever watches this stuff!).  

JC was going back to the flat today so I sent him a message and said he should put the heating on and all the lights and crank up some cheerful music and Aimee would be all around him.  Hope he is managing ok?
