Flowering Cactus

I now have no idea whether its a Christmas one or an Easter one, as it first flowered here around Easter!

It looked completely dead, and I was thinking about throwing it out, but suddenly all these buds have appeared.....  seems complicated somehow - but possibly uncomplicated??

Anyway, I'm submitting it for TinyTuesday - thanks to for the challenge loisbiz :)

Working from home was great today, still busy but I got quite a lot done :)
Just glad I didn't have to go into the office with intermittent heavy rain and sleet all day.  A colleague went into our Amersham office, and later when I spoke with her she'd gone home again as the snow was quite heavy there....

I am not planning to go out tonight as all the water on the road will be frozen horribly by the time I need to go.  I value my life and my car...

Its bad enough I have to go into the office tomorrow and Thursday, which is really out in the countryside and up a hill :(  Very worried about it...

I have just been outside - and its freezing already - to put a frostguard over my windscreen.  Not sure if it will work, but worth a try!

In other news - that pesky squirrel is eating all the fat balls, but I was so pleased to see the robin this afternoon in a 3/4 coconut which the squirrel hasn't found :)
