Brrrrr!

The temperature dropped to 0c during the night, cold enough for a touch of frost and for some shallow puddles such as this one to freeze. It was a beautiful sunny morning but definitely hat, coat and gloves weather for Bertie’s walk.
I made a large pan of squash soup ready for Lunch Club tomorrow using a new recipe which I liked the sound of and doubled the quantity to make enough for 12 (or so the recipe said). I hope that lots of folk turn up and they like the soup as there is rather a lot of it.
