Wonder

I tool all kinds of architectural photos today, from around the Parque das Nações - the Vasco da Gama Bridge and Tower and the magnificent railway station, but I most loved this shot of the big tank at the Aquarium. The whole place was a source of wonder but the highlight was seeing these children being totally mesmerised by the sharks and the thousands of fish. It's a whole other universe.

Forrest and Orla came out to the Aquarium with me before returning to the city do some things of their own. I stayed on to meet with amandoAlentejo and some of her wonderful family, freshly arrived from England. I felt deeply honoured. 

The evening was spent eating some traditional Portugese food and listening to some Fado. I slept well!
