Eshaness
More beautiful weather so we went for a drive, heading north and west to Eshaness. On the ground at the top of these 50-metre cliffs are dozens of boulders that have been thrown up by the sea in rough weather - hard to imagine on a glorious summer day. Home via the Hillswick shop for ice lollies, then steak for tea, cooked in the evening sunshine on an improvised barbecue. Marvellous.
