A goldfinch with a very golden forehead

I've not been photographing garden birds for some time, so I stood outside the back door looking over the patio and was surprised at how many birds were feeding.

I saw a bullfinch, which was pleasing as they haven't been visiting much in recent times. But the appearance of this goldfinch was surprising as I haven't seen such a golden forehead on a goldfinch in our garden before. Mostly they generally have more red on their heads. Perhaps it is a young one which hasn't developed its winter plumage.
