Another milestone day!

Two weeks ago today I was in theatre at the hospital at 8:30am having my right hip replaced robotically.
I just wanted to have a record on the gradual process of recovery.
What I have already found is I can walk about without pain around the house, and up and down the garden and stairs.
(I only use the stairs once a day, as we have a downstairs loo and hand basin.)
I have been gradually able to increase the Physio exercises each day.
When I feel everything has begun to ache and feel tired, I rest.
And I nap when needed.
My dear “nurse” is wonderful and has to endure some frustrations at times!
I also watched some of the main BBC 24 news when a retiring US Senator was giving an interview,
As if things couldn’t become any more bizarre in the White House appointments a vaccine sceptic in the form of RFK Jr has been appointed as health secretary……….
I didn’t watch anymore after that as the news is that Trade Tariffs are going to have a huge impact over here and in Europe.

Now I am going to have a quiet afternoon and read my almost finished book. As it is a good story I somehow never want to end!
Hope everyone has a good weekend,
