Late afternoon.

I took a detour on my way home from Pilates earlier and stopped the car to take this photo.
It doesn’t take long for us where we live on the outer edges of suburbia, to find ourselves surrounded by fields and farmland.
I stood for awhile just gazing. Not a soul anywhere around. Just the quiet beauty of the scene.
