Satisfaction

A brilliant day today, from the point of view of jobs getting done. Our lovely friend from church, Mike, who is a painter and decorator and all-round (very) handy man, spent the day here doing lots of jobs which are beyond the capabilities of Smithers and me. 

He’s painted our front door, sealed up a leak in our guttering and … you guessed it … put up my overlocker thread rack in the craft room! The four white threads are on the machine, the rest of the colours are here and I have space for three more colours if I ever need them.

A very satisfying kind of day.
