Gull Rocks

Cerrig Gwylan - so called because sea birds are their only visitors.

Smooth Beach (Traeth Llyfn) on the other hand  is very popular with holiday makers during the summer - until the tide turns and and gobbles up the sandy shore, forcing humans to scurry for the steep flight of steps that is the only exit. There's also a rip tide.
During seal pupping time the beach is off limits too.

It was a perfect day for a coastal walk and we had the very pleasant company of blipper Melisseus and Mrs M. to make it all the more enjoyable.
First extra shows them (with ppatrick in the middle) standing to my right on the cliff edge as I take the picture.
A little more erosion and we'd all be down below.

We also spotted some poached egg mushrooms (Bolbitius titubans)
