World Kindness Day apparently. 

I had a frustrating day. Spent the whole day rushing about at work on one of my busiest days of the week to get to a hospital appointment over an hours drive from home. It was with a different consultant and I assumed it was to get me started on the drugs I have been told I need to be on since May. Nope it was yet another consultation (the 4th one I have had now) where I had to repeat my whole medical history yet again (because he didn't have all my notes- why oh why in this day and age are they not on line for anyone with the right access to see!!) and to be told yet again we're considering this medication for you. And guess what, they want me to do more bloods and possibly another CT scan because the ones I've done previously are now out of date because they've taken so long to get this sorted. And then they keep telling me I need to be on this medication for the rest of my life because I'm increasing the risk of cancer coming back if I'm not!! The appointment letter stated that missed appointments cost the NHS £160. So they've wasted at least £480 on appointments that repeat each other not to mention the cost of the repeat scans and blood tests. I think they're just hoping I'll die and they don't have to fund my treatment!! I'm just going round in circles with it. They have inexplicably changed my consultant without giving me a reason and now I have to start the while laborious process again.
