Rheged Lights
For the record of my eye op. I had a good nights sleep with no pain. The eye felt a little bruised when I got up. By mid day/early afternoon there was basically no pain.
In the afternoon we went with Kanyl to Rheged to see the current free exhibition called "The Lake District HERDWICK". A fascinating exhibition, it appealed to me on three levels. First the photography, second given the subject I trained in the farming aspect was interesting and finally the use of Cumbrian Dialect was interesting given that dialect is my native language.
The exhibition was of course followed by coffee and cake. As I am forced to take things easy for a while following the op I hadn't been out looking for a blip. Photography isn't for obvious reasons permitted in exhibitions so I settled for a shot of the canework light shades hanging over the cafe.
