The Final Cut

Thanks to the almost continual rain in October, it wasn’t possible to give the lawns a last cut for the year before the clocks went back. But some dry - if not overly warm - weather in the last week or so meant that there was half a chance I could get them done today.
Truth be told, the ground was probably still too wet for a cut, but it does look better now it’s done. Mind you, it probably took me as long to clean everything afterwards as it did to do the actual cutting. It was actually quite enjoyable working outside this afternoon - I could have left it a few more days, but the forecast is for below zero temperatures next week and I didn’t fancy that!
A good PT session this morning - didn’t go up on weight but managed a few more reps than previously. With that, and being outside all afternoon, it’s been a healthy sort of day all round. Made even better by knowing I won’t have to think about mowing the lawns again until February!
