A walk in the woods

The light of my life! OK, corny I know, but she is and it hasn't dimmed after all these years. Apparently I bought Gill this dress years ago when John was tiny. She still likes it. I choose most of her clothes. This one I picked off the rack, wrapped it up, and gave it to her for her birthday. I've forgotten, but she hasn't. It was a hard choice today between this one and the other girl in my life who just loves to be in the water.

We've had two days of perfect summer weather - sunny and warm but not sweltering. Thank you all for the kind words on yesterday's blip. It was a special day.
