Big Cheese

It has been over a week since I blipped but I have always found this cathartic in the past so I am blipping again and filling in the gaps of last week.

Today was Tuesday and No.1 woke up feeling ok.  We had a potter and walked around the garden and she sat in the greenhouse while I pricked out some of the cornflowers (growing them early and will over winter them).  S popped round with some birthday flowers for me ahead of tomorrow (the BIG one and time for my pension).  We had a late breakfast and OH went to the care home and M popped round with card and present.  She had scout with her and we sat and chatted.  No.1 and I both agreed she is such easy company.

After she left No.1 was not feeling well and had a bad headache.  She sat in the sitting room and had some painkillers, and then some more and then another seizure.  Same format as before and she was tearful and then slept.  She didn’t look very comfortable sitting in the arm chair and we suggested we take her up to bed……. No mean feat with an old house and winding stairs, but we managed it.  She didn’t really wake and I went to bed full of trepidation and continual worry about Thursday.

Random photo today is of the wooden ‘big cheese’ wedge which No.2 made to go at the top of the stairs which along side stair gate ensures No,1 doesn’t fall down the stairs when she gets up at night.
