it has been a very long time that i've been returning to this same road in my hometown. every time i go back and look over the setting sun i am reminded of how much time has passed and yet in spite of all that changes, we never seem to. i have grown up and matured, gone through high school and nearly graduated college, i am twenty two years old and yet somehow my hopes dreams desires and fears have not changed much. as silly as it is, this road is everything i want out of life; the setting sun, peace and quiet, happiness without the material obsessions we walk through life with. i want to be some place i can call my own without the excuses i've made that allow me to drown in nostalgia.
