Long Shadows on the Bowling Green
TUESDAY
Another warm, sunny November day.
I set out for a run this morning, originally planning to go cross-country. But at 10:00 am, the grass was still wet, so I opted for the country lanes instead.
On leaving the village past St Beuno's College, I headed on to Rhuallt, looped back through Waen, and finished with the 2 km uphill stretch home. Covered the 7.5 km in 49 minutes. I also discovered some new footpaths along the way, including one that crosses the River Clwyd by a footbridge. I've added that one to my walking list.
In the afternoon, I headed over to East Parade in Rhyl for a couple of games of bowls with Paul, Max, and Keith.
Made it home by 4:20 pm, just in time for a spectacular sunset.
18,075 steps and counting
