Remembrance Sunday

SUNDAY

We headed up to the village memorial for a short Service of Remembrance, the laying of wreaths and two minutes silence at 11:00. 

We then attended the Eucharist service at the adjacent Corpus Christi church. The service was led by one of our neighbours the Reverend Dr Sally Harper.

One third of the village, village population of 700 are Welsh speaking and the services included hymns and prayers in both languages.

Both the Union Jack and the Welsh flags were flying in the centre of the village.
