(so love looking out on the lake, and walked around it again earlier, first extra, and then the second extra - parents who met in Italy towards the end of the War, both had served about three years there, with some time in North Africa. Mom joined the Red Cross, she was a ADVENTURER, and Dad went through OCS early and ended up as Major of a Tank Battalion - him from Brooklyn and her from out here in WA state - so there is an accident that made for a family and me the first of four kids!  the way life happens, truly amazing!)
