Cinnabar Moth Caterpillar

I spotted loads of these on the ragweed as I walked through the field on my way to the shop, all chomping away merrily, amazing to think that when they emerge as moths they will be black and red.
Busy day today, chasing my tail to get things done, not least of which is to wash, sort, destalk and freeze the 10 large punnets of blackcurrants that Mr PN brought home last night after seeing them on a roadside stall at £1.00 per punnet, I call that a bargain. I haven't quite decided what to do with them all yet but I'm not much of a jam maker so I will probably incorporate them into the muffins I bake :-)
