Samson’s Stone
We walked to Trowan this morning from Loch Monzievaird , through some lovely woodland (extras). Along the way we passed this enormous boulder which is named on the OS map as Samson’s stone. A quick google when I got home describes it is variously as a large glacial erratic boulder or a standing stone. It’s certainly very large and several climbing routes are described.
