Lurking

We've both worked in the garden all day, clearing leaves and cutting back clematis.  I've also been over the back stacking the willowherb I cut down yesterday.  I now have three piles of rubbish that will need taking up to the area where all the cuttings from the orchard are piled.

It's late in the afternoon as a weather front comes through and I can see blue sky.

I saw this lurking on the garden table.  Any idea what it is?
