Sunday...

I'd earmarked today for a trip to Martin Mere. It's been a bit frustrating that I haven't as yet gone this autumn - weather and things to be done have got in the way. So, I thought that today is the day...except the weather over there was misty & rainy & the weather here was for the gloom to lift & the sun to come out.

I stayed here & the sun did indeed shine! Lovely walk - again without a coat - & this cormorant was very obliging by sitting close to the dam wall at Scout Dike.

I haven't minded the gloom, but it's been good to have some sunshine today.

The buzzard family were again out and about - the buzzard & the worm have been relegated to the extras today.
