Sláinte!

A very foggy drive to Vienna so we saw hardly any of the countryside. It took about four and a half hours, and we arrived around 12:30. We dropped off our bags at the hotel and walked around the city, so much to see, many historical buildings and statues. We lucked out and found a Christmas market. The mulled wine served in these little mugs was delicious! Crowds of people - it sure isn’t Salt Spring! We had supper at a restaurant that served traditional food. Renata and Kalyn had schnitzel and potato salad, a meal that Renata’s mother-in-law made, and they thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a veggie burger. On the recommendation of another blipper, we had cake for dessert, delicious!
