Vivid autumn colours
A relaxing day today. We need a vignette to travel into Austria, so we purchased that today. A vignette is a type of road tax or system of paying toll roads in several countries across the world. Drivers need to purchase and display a sticker or an electronic equivalent on their vehicle to use on certain roads or highways. We opted for the sticker because that’s what the woman at the car rental place told us to do. The vignette system is often considered more efficient than toll booths because it reduces traffic congestion and allows for smoother travel on motorways and major road networks. We also filled up with diesel, so we’re all set for driving to Vienna tomorrow. Kalyn’s going to stay overnight. We have to be back for her practice on Monday afternoon, so it’s a quick trip but we definitely want to take advantage of the chance to go on an adventure with her.
Renata and I went for a walk along a stream to find a small bridge with a view of the towers of St. Peter’s Church. The bridge and view was on a postcard in the Airbnb. Another beautiful place to walk minutes away from the Airbnb, and the house and leaf-covered wall was so lovely. The view of the towers was great, but I
I wanted something different for a blip.
All packed now and ready to check out and hit the road early tomorrow morning!
